Twice a year we have a Hackathon, where the engineering team get to work on projects of their choosing - either curly technical issues they want to sink their teeth into, or small-but-mighty features that never quite make it to the top of the priority list.

The team has two and a half days and it's not just an awesome event from a technical perspective, but it's also a great way to bring the team together, as we work remotely most of the time.

Our last Hackathon in July resulted in our Courier integration and quick-add products management features being released, so we are really excited to see what comes out of this one!

Here are the smaller improvements we've made in November:

• Improved handling of Woolworths PO changes - giving you more insight and control over change requests
• Improvements in how we handle suppliers with no available products - letting suppliers know if they've ended up in this state, and providing more info for buyers
• We have clarified the in-app text around removing user accounts to make it more obvious what happens

Upstock now has a direct integration with Cin7 Omni, available to everyone on a Logistics plan. If you're not on Logistics, chat with the team about an upgrade.

If you receive orders from Loaded you can now use our new AI-assisted orders feature to quickly get them into Upstock!

Christmas is coming up fast and it's good to be ahead of the game when planning for any well-earned breaks you'll be taking this year.

If you use standing orders you'll want to pause these on your non-trading periods - we've made that easier to do in recently releases.

We now include two new columns in the Orders Export Report: Tracking, and Fulfilment Group. So if you're shipping goods with a tracking number, or want to know the Fulfilment group then we've got you covered!

Here are the small-but-mighty improvements we've made to Upstock during October:

• We'll only push an invoice/sales order if you were connected to an integration when the Upstock order was created
• We'll create order errors if you are temporarily disconnected, to let you know the orders that weren't/won't be sync'd to your integration
• New suppliers who are connected to a 3rd-party integration can select which customers to import. Learn more.
• If you don't need to see Price mismatch warnings, you can have them turned off - ask the team to help you with this.
• If you're printing packing slips as double-sided, you can now choose an option that will insert blank pages as needed so packing slips remain separate.

Forward your customer orders to Upstock and we’ll automatically create an order with the details filled in. If you manually enter orders this feature will save you a ton of time!

If you use our payments feature and you'd prefer daily payouts from Stripe, chat with the team to get set up. This is a paid add-on to your Logistics plan.
